For those that missed this story over the weekend, here it is again: It's official, the summer tour that started because Lollapalooza didn't think Ozzy was current enough to include in their lineup is back. Ozzy Osbourne announced the 2010 Ozzfest on Friday, which will feature the tour's namesake and another metal legend, Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford as main stage attractions along with Motley Crue (who tried their own summer music festival), DevilDriver and Nonpoint. The Second stage will be headed up by Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society, plus sets by Kingdom of Sorrow, and Goatwhore, Skeletonwitch, Saviours and Kataklysm.
This year's tour is set to kick off August 14 in San Bernardino (the birthplace of the first Ozzfest in 1996) and then make stops in Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT, Camden, NJ, Pittsburgh, PA and Boston, MA. Only those six dates have been announced, with no word of additional dates to be added. So this looks like it.
