Just Surrender will be releasing limited edition vinyl singles off their new album in advance of the release of Phoenix on August 17th through Razor & Tie. The 7" color vinyl singles will be hand numbered and limited to a one time only pressing of 500 pieces for each single.The singles will also be released exclusively through iTunes in a unique promotion building up to the release of Phoenix. Any fan who purchases any of the three singles digitally will receive a corresponding discount when they buy the full length album via iTunes. "For me, putting our music on vinyl is a dream come true. When I was a kid, I remember my mom listening to records, and that really got me into music. We worked hard on these songs, and hopefully people appreciate the work and effort we put into making this album," stated guitarist/vocalist Dan Simons.
The first single to be released will be "On My Own", available May 11th digitally on iTunes and on vinyl through Just Surrender's MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/justsurrenderrock), tour dates, and select retailers nationwide. To find out the dates and titles of the second and third singles, fans will have to stay tuned to Just Surrender's Twitter where the band will reveal information as the release dates near. New York-based Just Surrender is Jason MAffucci (vocals), Dan Simons (vocals/guitars), Hammer (bass), Jolly Ubriaco (guitars) and Steve Miller (drums). The band formed right out of high school and haven't stopped since. They have sold over 40,000 albums to date with their two previous independent releases and have maintained a consistent presence on the punk/emo touring scene. Just Surrender has previously played with bands including The Starting Line, All Time Low, We The Kings, Taking Back Sunday, and Bowling For Soup amongst others, as well as performed on the Vans Warped Tour and Bamboozle.
