Easton Corbin Sets Label Record

Mercury Nashville newcomer Easton Corbin's self-titled debut album tallied sales exceeding 43k this past week, marking the highest debut of a Universal Music Nashville male artist spanning the last seven years. "I am humbled and amazed at the thought of that many people going out and buying my record the first week," said Corbin. "It just shows you how powerful country radio is when it comes to getting your music to the people. I am very appreciative of my label and all of their hard work." Easton makes his first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry next Saturday, March 20, which can be heard live on Sirius XM, Nashville's WSM 650 AM and on www.wsmonline.com. Easton will also perform his chart-topping hit "A Little More Country Than That" Monday, March 15 at 8:45amCT on Nashville's Fox "Tennessee Mornings", which can be seen on WZTV channel 17. Upcoming radio tour stops include Boston; Springfield, MA; San Antonio; Phoenix; Columbia and Greenville, SC; Charlotte; Chicago and Wilmington, DE.
