(Submitted News) Rising pop artist Regan releases her debut EP, "My Kinda Beautiful," this month, showcasing expansive vocal talent, relevant and catchy songwriting skills, and featuring production by top industry producers Rob Hoffman (Christina Aguilera), Dave Audé (Pussycat Dolls) and Eddie Galan (High School Musical). Regan's debut EP is available now through digital distributors iTunes and Amazon.com. Blending the Midwest charm of Taylor Swift with the confident edge of Kelly Clarkson, Regan navigates a range of emotions on "My Kinda Beautiful." Originally from Bettendorf, Iowa, a demo version of EP opener, "Superstar," caught the ear of No. 4 Entertainment in Hollywood, who subsequently featured Regan on their artist development episodic series, "Crash Course to Stardom." Culminating with a live showcase at Universal City Walk, her performance on the series drew some of music's hottest producers to her studio project. "Regan is a vocalist phenom," says Dave Audé (Pussy Cat Dolls, Madonna) who produced one of the EP's standout songs, "Sick of Boys." "You literally hit 'record' and what comes out of her mouth is magic every take." The Audé-produced track features crisp pop-rock guitars which back an infectious vocal melody, and underscore lyrical themes relatable to every teenage girl: struggles with heartbreak and navigating the new emotional landscape of feelings for the opposite sex. Eddie Galan, whose production credits include the #1 charting soundtrack High School Musical, collaborates on "Live for Today." The track transitions from sweeping and cinematic verses to a beat-driven chorus. "I have worked with a lot of artists in my 11 years in the music business," says Galan. "And Regan is the real deal. She can sing, perform, write, and dance." In theme with the message of her songs, Regan is using her newfound platform to launch ReganPlanet.com, a destination for young kids to shift from negative surroundings and empower change through music, fashion, environmental issues, and a sense of helping others. "In the end," says Regan, "I just want to continue being [me] and live up to my potential." Having achieved all this at the age of only eighteen, Regan is proving to be an inspiration to her peers, her fans, and teenagers across America.
