Dirty Heads song "Lay Me Down" made history this week officially tying the chart record set at Alternative radio, spending nine consecutive weeks at no 1.The last independently released single to spend as much time at #1 was "What It's Like" (Everlast), released on Tommy Boy over a decade ago in 1998.
Additionally, "Lay Me Down" currently holds the #2 spot on Billboard's Rock Songs chart, following its debut over 18 weeks ago and has sold over 150,000 downloads.
