NPR's Morning Edition spoke with Alejandro Escovedo for an interview segment that aired on Friday. If you missed it you can still check it out online.It's a very personal segment where he talks about some of the identity struggles that he's faced. He also talks openly about relationships with his father and son. He says his new album, 'Street Songs of Love' (which comes out tomorrow), is about a search common to all of us. He says, "That something they're trying to find is love." As a side note the new album features a duet with Bruce Springsteen on a track called "Faith."
