Eagle Rock's This Is The Blues: Volumes 3 & 4 recreates some of the greatest blues songs ever written on this set of CDs, each 15 tracks deep, and 70-minutes rich, will be released July 20.This Is The Blues is an arrangement of choice tracks from the Pete Brown-produced tribute albums Clarksdale to Heaven: Remembering John Lee Hooker, Knights of the Blues Table, and Rattlesnake Guitar: Music of Peter Green. The result is a complete set of blues music exaltation.
On Volumes 3 & 4, masterpieces from the likes of Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker, T-Bone Walker, Peter Green, and Willie Dixon are paid tribute by artists such as Mick Taylor, Jeff Beck, Gary Brooker, Jack Bruce, Snowy White, as well as many others.
