Erika Jayne has done it again as she returns to the top spot on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play charts with her single "Pretty Mess," moving ahead of Lady Gaga's "Alejandro," Usher featuring will.i.am's "OMG," David Guetta featuring Kelly Roland's "Commander" and the Black Eyed Peas' "Rock That Body."This is a particularly impressive feat for the pop vocalist and songwriter as this marks her fourth consecutive time at the #1 spot on this chart. "They say good things come in threes, but I think I would have to disagree," says ERIKA. The Atlanta-born, Los Angeles transplant's three previous singles"Stars," "Roller Coaster" and "Give You Everything"have also hit #1.
"Pretty Mess" is the title track of her debut album out now on E1 Records and was written by Jayne and Peter Rafelson (Madonna, Britney Spears).
The chart position was propelled by a stellar remix package featuring reworkings by some of today's most in-demand producers: Dave Aude, Tracy Young, DJ Escape & Johnny Vicious, Larry Tee, Bill Hamel, Klubjumpers, Peter Rafelson and Marshall Stack; as well as a sexy and provocative video cut to the Dave Aude remix and co-directed by VMA-nominated choreographer, artistic director Mikey Minden (Pussy Cat Dolls, Girlicious, Paradiso Girls) and famed photographer Mike Ruiz.
