King Blossom Guitars will present the 2nd Annual Apple Jam at Mount Sunapee Resort on Saturday, July 10. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the nonprofit organization Wounded Warrior Project and will support a full range of programs and services for severely injured service members and their families.
Live music from noon until 10:00pm will include rock, blues, country and country rock provided by the Dan Lawson Band, YouTube's Riffguy, Little Memphis, Last Kid Picked, Southern Breeze, Samuel Bowen and wounded warrior and Nashville singer/songwriter Sal "Gonzo" Gonzalez. Between bands several wounded warriors will tell their story.
"We are pleased to be involved with the Wounded Warrior organization and the Mount Sunapee Resort in support of military personnel who have served on our behalf. We are looking forward to a day of great fun, food and music," said Jeff Figley, owner of King Blossom Guitars.
Everything will be held under a huge tent so the event will happen rain or shine. Mount Sunapee will be providing food and beverage all day and the aerial sky ride to Mount Sunapee's summit will be operating until 4:30pm. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. Children 10 and under are free. Tickets are available at www.applejamnh.com.
"On behalf of the injured service members, we want to thank King Blossom Guitars for their dedication to our nation's heroes. Their commitment is helping ensure the tremendous personal sacrifices service men and women make for our country are not forgotten," said Wounded Warrior Project Executive Director, Steven Nardizzi.
