Rockpalast is a world renowned German television series that began airing in 1974 on the German television station Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR). Translated into English as "Rock Palace" the television series still airs today.

All six of these recordings were released on DVD via SPV RECORDINGS last year and are available in stores now. Details on the first six releases can be found below:

The First Three Cd's Slated For Release On June 29, 2010 Are: Dickey Betts & Great Southern - Rockpalast: 30 Years Of Southern Rock (1978-2008) Double Cd

Dickey Betts And Great Southern were the third highlight at the Rockpalast Festival on March 4th/5th, 1978. On those evenings, they played for the first time in Europe in front of an enthusiastic audience at the Gruga-Halle in Essen/Germany and millions of viewers on television.

The second CD contains a special bonus ROCKPALAST-Show from July 19th 2008. Although 30 years have passed, Dickey Betts still can deliver a fresh and amazing concert which was filmed in Bonn, Germany during his 2008 European tour.

Paul Butterfield Band - Rockpalast Blues Rock Legends Vol. 2 - Celebrating the late great blues legend, this CD captures Paul Butterfield and his band at their concert recorded on September 15th, 1978 for Germany's legendary TV program ROCKPALAST.

Spirit - Rockpalast: West Coast Legends Vol. 3: Considered one of the best concerts of the first Rockpalast era (1977-1986), This CD presents Randy California and his band, Spirit, at their best during the monumental March 5th 1978 episode. This performance also features special guest DICKEY BETTS.

John Cipolina/Nick Gravenites Band - Rockpalast West Coast Legends Vol. 1: This CD presents two musical legends, John Cipollina (Quicksilver Messenger Service, Copperhead) And Nick Gravenites (Electric Flag, Big Brother And The Holding Company) at their best during their November 28th 1980 performance on Germany's legendary TV show Rockpalast.

Jorma Kaukonen & Vital Parts - Rockpalast West Coast Legends Vol. 2: This CD captures founder of Jefferson Airplane Jorma Kaukonen with his solo outfit, Jorma Kaukonen And Vital Parts, at their November 29th 1980 performance on Germany's legendary TV show Rockpalast.
