Whitechapel Hit the Charts

Whitechapel's new album, A New Era of Corruption, landed at No 43 on the Billboard Top 200 with sales of just under 10,700 units. The album also debuted at #2 on the Hard Music Core Stores Chart, #3 on the Independent Albums Chart, and #5 on the Hard Music Albums Chart. In addition to breaking the charts in the states, A New Era of Corruption also charted in Canada coming in at #70 on the Current Albums chart, #9 on the Indie chart, and #8 on the Hard chart. A New Era of Corruption marks the band's 3rd full-length album and 2nd for Metal Blade Records. The band comments on the success of A New Era of Corruption: "We are excited to have charted on the Billboard 200 again, this time with the release of A New Era of Corruption and are thankful for all of our amazing fans who supported us and bought the CD. This CD will be a huge step forward in our career and we can't wait to see where it will take us."
