"Load" was Metallica's sixth studio album and was originally released on the 4th June 1996. The album went on to top the Billboard Top 200 charts for four weeks and has currently sold over 5 million copies in the USA alone. Displaying a change in sound and direction for the band (Lars Ulrich is quoted as saying "This album and what we're doing with it - that, to me, is what Metallica are all about: exploring different things. The minute you stop exploring, then just sit down and f***ing die") the album brought together, now classic, Metallica songs such as "Ain't My Bitch", "Hero Of The Day", "King Nothing" and "Bleeding Me". The album was produced by Bob Rock.
The audio is half speed Mastered from the original analogue tapes at Mobile Fidelity for the ultimate listening experience... The best Audiophile Quality….
Enough of the hyperbole….It's Metallica…..it's "Load" in deluxe form…what are you waiting for…
