Nada Surf's originally made their covers album 'if i had a hi-fi' available only at stops on their recent tour. That has changed. The album hit the shelves of local record stores yesterday on CD and as a 180 gram Double LP with 3 bonus tracks. It is also available for download at digital retail outlets. The critically acclaimed covers album has gained the kind of reception usually reserved for self-penned releases on account of Nada Surf's beautiful renditions of the eclectic mix of songs on the album.
