Kid Rock and David Guetta will perform at the Isle of MTV live music event in Malta on 30 June. The concert, which will take place on Il Fosos Square in Malta's ancient and picturesque city, Floriana, will also broadcast in September as a one-hour programme, Isle of MTV Malta Special, across MTV's network of European channels. The two big name acts join previously announced artists Kelis and Scissor Sisters who, together, are set to take MTV's flagship summer music property to another epic high when they appear at Europe's biggest free outdoor concert on the sun-kissed Mediterranean island of Malta. "Kid Rock is widely known as being one of the world's most exciting, dynamic live performers and David Guetta's special live performance with vocalist Chris Willis promises to be nothing less than electric,' commented Bruce Gillmer, Executive Vice President, Talent & Music, MTVNI. 'With Kid Rock, Scissor Sisters, Kelis and David Guetta playing their biggest summer anthems and most exciting new tracks in front of 50000 music lovers, the legacy of Isle of MTV continues. This year's event in Malta promises to explode as Europe's ultimate destinational live summer concert." "Malta is proud to be hosting Isle of MTV for the fourth successive year. This year's concert will bring together the same ingredients that made the past events so successful: an incredible talent line up, fantastic summer-flavoured music, a massive fun-loving audience, enchanting setting and perfect organisation. And to top it all it's free. We look forward to hosting the artists, MTV crew and the thousand of visitors who will be joining us for a night to remember," said Dr. Mario de Marco, Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism and Culture.
