The event, dubbed "Rock the Harvest" will take place on June 14th at the Exit/In, 2208 Elliston Place in Nashville. Admission to the event will be a donation of $5.00 or five cans of food.

Performers on the bill include five time Grammy-winner, Roy "Futureman" Wooten; Chauffeur Records/Fontana artist Red Carpet Rats; the hugely popular experimental pop, rock and hip-hop outfit, Knapsackheroes!; Auggie & the Strangers in Paradise, Robert Gay, Kissing Robots and a few surprise guests.

"The band was actually out of town when the flood happened and could only view the events on TV," recalls Uni Pereira of Red Carpet Rats. "However what struck me was watching the resiliency of the residents of Nashville in how quickly and effectively they responded to this tragic event. It's an honor to be involved in a relief effort such as this."

Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is one of the largest and most comprehensive of over 200 food banks and food distribution centers nationwide. As a first responder in disaster relief for Middle Tennessee, Second Harvest has been on the frontline assisting those who have been affected by the recent floods, distributing food, water, and cleaning supplies to individuals and agencies in the area. The organization has distributed more than 500,000 pounds of food, which means close to 400,000 meals have been supplied to those in the organization's 46-county service area in Middle and West Tennessee.
