Breaking The Par With Judas Priest Star

We teased you about this in yesterday's digest, but Gibson.com's Michael Wright has more details about the Judas Priest golf course: Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing has been more concerned with breaking par these days than breaking the law. Downing has designed a new golf course near his home, Astbury Hall, outside Bridgnorth, England. The 150-acre course will be opened to the public in mid-September, according to the Shropshire Star.Downing told the paper, "Astbury Hall has been borne from my experiences on golf courses from around the world. I am fortunate enough to have played some of the finest the world has to offer and I feel privileged to have been able to create a property that encompasses all my cherished experiences." He continued, "I have been lucky to work in two industries that have allowed me to be so creative, especially golf course architecture, which has enabled the visions in my head to be transformed beautifully into a reality." - more on this story
