Eagle Rock have announced August 17th release date for the Jackson Browne's Going Home DVD.A re-issue of the 1999 home video released via Pioneer, this music film has been revived for the DVD market as a reminder of Browne's lasting legacy. This DVD, part documentary and part live experience, sees him reflecting on his four decade career. Going Home features not only interviews with Browne, but footage of live sets from different decades in his career seamlessly blended into one another. These live moments are a testament to the timeless nature of his music. Guest appearances, in interviews and performances, include Don Henley, David Crosby, Graham Nash, The Eagles, David Lindley, Jennifer Warnes, and Bonnie Raitt.
An accomplished songwriter with seven platinum records to his name, Jackson Browne's homegrown, heartfelt music has earned him inductions in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2004) and the Songwriter's Hall of Fame (2007). He's penned hit songs not only for himself, but The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Joan Baez, and others. His honest, personal delivery and moving, breathing songs have laid the foundation for a solid and celebrated career, which is beautifully captured on Going Home.
