Motley Cyrus Snot Supergroup Brother Clyde Release Debut Video

We previously told you about Billy Ray Cyrus's new hard rock supergroup with former members of Motley Crue and Snot. You can now find out what they sound like as we received the following word: "Lately," the first video from Brother Clyde's upcoming self-titled debut album -- has just been released. The hard rock outfit features Billy Ray Cyrus on vocals and guitars, Samantha Maloney (Motley Crue, Hole) handling drums, Jamie Miller (Snot) and Dan Knight on guitars, and veteran bassist Dave Henning. The song's mournful lyrics inspired the stark Nick Holmes directed video which doesn't even feature Brother Clyde's band members. Cyrus says, "I thought it was quintessential to this video not to have any band performance... no pictures of my face. It's about the world, the human race and Mother Earth. We wanted the video to stay in that realm. We were looking at everything that's happened lately -- the earthquake in Haiti, the floods in Tennessee, the oil spill -- there was stuff on the news every single day that reflects more and more what "Lately" is about." The track comes off Brother Clyde which will be released on August 10th. The band already did a gig at a Kansas City festival, and will kick off the CD release with a concert at the annual motorcycle rally at Sturgis, S.D. That Sturgis crowd of crazed Harley riders will see on that stage one of their own, a rebel without pause, passionate about music, life and doing things his own way. What has he done for us lately? Just ask him. "What I've done with Brother Clyde is what I hoped I could do," says Cyrus. "Close one chapter and start a new one. It's a wonderful feeling to be able to say I can do what I want to do." - Watch the video here
