"America's Got Talent," have announced its first ever nationwide tour this fall. The announcement promises to bring the country's most dynamic and diverse entertainers to 25 cities beginning October 1st at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, CA. The announcement was made jointly today by Debra Rathwell, Senior Vice President of AEG Live, Northeast, and Andy Felsher, SVP, Games, Entertainment and Live Events for FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME). Hosted by Jerry Springer, the spectacular live stage version will feature the Season 5 winner, who will be crowned during the show's season finale on September 15th. This phenomenal event, promoted by AEG Live, will also feature other dynamic finalists and fan favorites from the hit series.
"America's Got Talent has discovered some of the most amazing performers that this country has to offer," said Debra Rathwell of AEG Live, in making the announcement. "We're proud to have the opportunity to tour this unique and explosive live stage show."

America's Got Talent returned this summer with the hottest performers from across the country competing in the blockbuster reality show's fifth season. Bringing the variety show format back to the forefront of American culture each week, the show features a colorful array of hopeful future stars -- singers, dancers, comedic performers and unique acts of all ages. While each contestant has the chance to strut and perform in front of a panel of celebrity judges including Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan, the eventual winner is chosen by the television viewing audience. Since launching in 2006, America's Got Talent has been sold to over 100 countries, with localized versions of the hit format being produced in 24 countries around the world.
