Need proof that nothing is sacred? Gibson.com's Andrew Vaughan has this story: Leslie Hindman Auctioneers of Chicago will place the instruments used in Elvis's autopsy and embalming up for auction four days before the 33rd anniversary of Presley's death on August 16.All of the items used in the autopsy and funeral preparations will be offered at auction, including: rubber gloves, forceps, lip brushes, comb and eye liner, needle injectors, an arterial tube and aneurysm hooks. Preparing the body involved embalming the body, dressing the body in the suit chosen by Elvis's family, applying make-up, and dying Elvis's graying hair to black. To be offered in two sets, the items are expected to sell for around $8,000. - more on this story
