Justin Bieber is a modern day phenomenon. Raised by his mother, Pattie, in the Canadian city of Stratford, Bieber went from a complete unknown to having a number one record in less than two years. Braun went on a mission to meet Justin and Pattie and finally convinced them to fly to Atlanta (Justin's first ever plane ride) to talk about a potential partnership. When Braun arranged a meeting with Justin's idol, Usher, the deal was sealed. It wasn't long before Justin landed a contract with Island Records and within a year racked up a string of hit and captured the 24-7 attention of millions of teenaged girls.
