Ke$ha, LMFAO, Too Short, Warren G and More Guest on New Dirt Nasty Album

07/02/2010
.
ex-MTV veejay Simon Rex's alter ego Dirt Nasty will release his second solo album this fall entitled "Nasty as I Wanna Be," which will feature Ke$ha, LMFAO, Too Short, Warren G, Andre Legacy, Andy Milonakis, Beardo, and Benji Hughes.

The official release date was confirmed today and the album is slated to drop August 10th, 2010. After the huge success and fan following that Dirt Nasty created with the debut of his first self-titled album in 2007, this second solo release marks a progressive step in his music career as he taps into a key group of artists and producers to complete "Nasty as I Wanna Be".

In addition to the amazing list of featured artist, Dirt also teamed up with some of the industry's most celebrated producers such as Kool Kojak (Katy Perry, Flo Rida), Cisco Adler (Shwayze, Mickey Avalon), Alchemist (Mobb Deep, Jadakiss), Frank E. (B.O.B., Flo Rida), and others. With such a strong team onboard for his second album, Dirt Nasty promises new singles that will be even bigger than his previous hits such as "1980", which was featured on HBO's "Entourage" and even his fan favorite "My Dick", which has been licensed in numerous film and TV shows including: "Harold & Kumar: Escape From Guantanamo Bay," HBO's "Hung", and the recently released film, "The Rebound" featuring Catherine Zeta-Jones. The 2009 hit comedy "The Hangover" even featured the song "What Do You Say" (produced by Lil Jon) of which Dirt Nasty's verse was used for the scene.

Most recently, Dirt Nasty leaked a mixtape with DJ Stretch Armstrong called "The White Album", which also featured Andre Legacy, Rich Hill, Andy Milonakis plus drops from Vanilla Ice, Paul Wall, Asher Roth, and Everlast from House of Pain. To date, the mixtape has had over 30,000 downloads and continues to create buzz. "Nasty As I Wanna Be" will definitely further prove Dirt Nasty's originality and longevity within the music industry, but he promises to stay true to his distinctive raunchy and comedic rap-style.

Since his MTV days, Simon Rex aka Dirty Nasty has really made a name for himself not only with his music, but also as an actor, producer, and comedian. In regards to his acting career, Simon Rex has starred in hit TV shows such as Felicity, Jack and Jill, What I Like About You as well as making guest appearances on Baywatch, Everwood, and Summerland. He has also acted in feature films including Scary Movie 3, Superhero Movie, Scary Movie 4, Hotel California, and more.

Simon Rex's alter ego Dirt Nasty has given him the opportunity to tour the world developing a die-hard fan base who sells out all-age shows and nightclubs across the world.
