Iyaz, hot off his multi-week No. 1 debut Replay, will be a special guest on Justin Bieber's summer Tour with support Sean Kingston. The tour began June 29th in Minneapolis and winds up on September 5th with an appearance at the Maryland State Fair.
Iyaz has already seen his star ascend with the blockbuster success of Replay, which soared to No. 1 on Billboards Hot 100 and No. 3 on the iTunes Top Songs chart. The prequel and regular versions of the Replay video, directed by Bobby Wan, have racked up 60 million views on Iyazs Official YouTube Channel.
His videos, including the clip for his chart-topping second single, Solo, have streamed more than 75 million times on his YouTube channel. Iyazs third single, So Big, has just been released to radio and is poised to repeat its predecessors success. He is also one of four artists handpicked by MySpace Music for their Introducing. program.
A native of the British Virgin Islands, Iyaz is at the forefront of the Island Pop sound, a brilliant fusion of rap, reggae, pop, and island vibes that has been popularized by fellow Beluga Heights recording artist Sean Kingston. Kingston discovered Iyaz through his MySpace Page in 2008 and introduced him to Beluga Heights founder, multi-platinum songwriter and producer J.R. Rotem, who saw immediate potential in the 23-year-old's vocal and songwriting talent. Rotem signed Iyaz to Beluga Heights, which is now partnered with Reprise Records. Time Is Money/Beluga Heights/Reprise will release Iyazs debut album, Replay, this summer.
