This is no one-off reunion tour. They're back for good! Arab on Radar are already working on a new record and plan to tour extensively, including a European tour in 2011.

Arab on Radar formed in Providence, RI in 1994 and disbanded in 2002. The group was one of the most influential noise rock acts of the 1990s and were more than likely an influence on any noisy avant-garde band that you hear today.

During the band's first incarnation they released four albums and numerous other releases, which were followed up with the release of 2003's "The Stolen Singles" compilation and the 2008 live DVD, "Sunshine for Shady People". Members of Arab on Radar went on to form The Chinese Stars, Made in Mexico, and Athletic Automaton.

In an exclusive interview with Seancarnage.com earlier this month the band gave some insight into the upcoming shows. For instance, the concept this time around will be blue uniforms. And they will have a little gift for those that make it out to see them in person. "We are trying to give away one unique item at every show as to make it a special occasion. Limited to about 200 per night." Presents are always nice, but what about the music? You "can expect to hear about 5 of our old songs from 'Soak the Saddle' and 'Yahweh or the Highway', and probably only three of the brand new songs we have written." And for those of you that are fortunate enough to catch more than one show on the tour, you "won't hear all of our new songs at one show, we will mix that up from show to show."

When asked what makes their music so compelling, Arab on Radar are direct: "What makes us compelling is that we try to play our own style of music and people enjoy our live show very much, not to sound like f***faces but, it is unlike anything else ever done. Everyone should experience Arab on Radar at least once in their life." And now, once again, you have the chance to do so.
