Merge Records is excited to announce that Sweden's Shout Out Louds will be embarking on a North American tour during the month of May. With the band's new album, Work, being released on February 23, the tour begins on May 2 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC, and will culminate with a performance at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles, CA, on May 21.
Before this tour begins, the band will play their first show in America to support Work on March 1 at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg. The show is already sold out.
In addition to the tour, the band has just released a music video for the first commercial single from Work titled "Fall Hard" (single being released digitally on February 2). Directed by Shout Out Louds bass player Ted Malmros and his brother Tom Malmros, "Fall Hard" is a colorful moving image which director Ted describes as "A Belgian cigarettes inspired TV-show deja vú..."
