No Explanation Records revealed that the band Seventh Vail has added a new drummer to the lineup. After a shoulder injury took out drummer Ken Barber, the band went after an industry veteran that could pick up the music quickly and add a new flair to the band. They found the perfect fit in Julia Stixx. The band is currently in studio recording a new album due for release this summer and playing select shows along the east coast. Keep an eye out for Seventh Vail. When she was just a young gun, Julia knew she had found her passion... playing drums! After her first few years of playing, she realized just how far she wanted to take this passion. Between 2000-2009, she has played and recorded with various metal and rock projects such as: Flirting with Disaster, Edge of Hope, One Bullet, Black Horizon and Cobra Kisses. Playing live along side both national and international acts, she is looking to push herself beyond limitations. Having just returned from NAMM Julia has long been a fan of Seventh Vail and immediately answered the call for auditions. "Julia's natural talent and training enabled her to really impress when paired with the band. She came in a nailed 3 of the bands songs after she listened to them online. Her touring experience adds new dimensions and a new flavor to a lot of the music" stated NER Found Jay Burton.
