WWE Women's Champion and aspiring country singer Mickie James has joined a star-studded lineup for the 3rd annual W.O. Music School's Dustin Wells Gift of Music concert. The sold out event will be held on Monday, February 22, 7:00 pm, at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon. James joins some of country music's biggest stars as Rascal Flatts, Kellie Pickler, Jason Michael Carroll, Keith Anderson and Little Big Town are scheduled to perform. All proceeds will benefit the W.O. Smith Music School, which has been providing 50-cent music lessons to Nashville's underprivileged children for 25 years. "I'm used to entertaining in front of large audiences but this opportunity is mind-blowing to say the least!" says an ecstatic James. "It's such an incredible cause and to make my live country debut on the same stage as all of these megastars
it's surreal!" The annual event was created by the Dustin J. Wells Foundation, a nonprofit organization established by Nashville dentist Dr. Dennis Wells to honor the memory of his late son. Dustin was a talented musician and the partnership in his name with the W.O Smith Music School gives other young musicians the chance to thrive. James, one of the premiere stars in the world of sports entertainment, will release her first single, "Are You With Me," to country radio next Tuesday, February 16, 2010. The full album is currently slated for a March 23, 2010 release. Tickets for the Dustin Wells Gift of Music concert sold out in just 20 minutes. VIP tickets (include premier seating, dinner, valet parking and a chance to win autographed memorabilia) are still available for $500 each and can be purchased by calling 615-371-8878.
