Film composer James Horner was nominated yesterday for an Academy Award in the "Music (Original Score)" category, honoring his extraordinary contribution to Twentieth Century Fox's international blockbuster, Avatar. "AVATAR: MUSIC FROM THE MOTION PICTURE," the official score album companion to Oscar-winning filmmaker James Cameron's epic adventure, is available now in stores and at all leading DSPs.
"AVATAR: MUSIC FROM THE MOTION PICTURE" was composed and conducted by James Horner and recently received two Golden Globe nominations for "Best Original Song - Motion Picture" and "Best Original Score," as well as a BAFTA nomination.
