KISS Hit With Copyright Violation Claim was a top story in November. Here it is again as we recap 2010: (Rock Radio) The official YouTube video channel of American glam legends KISS has been closed for breaching copyright laws – just weeks after bassist Gene Simmons controversially called for all rights breakers to be sued and jailed.Visitors to the band's OfficialKISSonline channel were advised in a YouTube error message: "This channel has been terminated due to multiple or severe violations of our community guidelines, and/or claims of copyright infringement." Some Kiss videos embedded on the band website's front page were replaced with the message: "This video is no longer available because the associated YouTube account has been terminated." At least one replacement message stated S'more Entertainment had lodged a breach of rights claim against Kiss. - more on this story
