Uriah Heep Begin New Album

(Gibson) Uriah Heep have begun work on an album of new material. The veteran prog-rock band are currently recording at Liscombe Park Studios in Buckinghamshire, England. The new studio album will be Heep's first disc of all-new songs since 2008's Wake the Sleeper. Earlier this year, the group released Celebration, a 14-track album that featured 12 re-recordings of their best-known songs, plus two newly written compositions. News of the forthcoming studio disc comes fast on the heels of a previous announcement that Uriah Heep will soon release a new live album, titled Official Bootleg Volume 2 – Live in Budapest, Hungary, 2010. more on this story
