(Gibson) The Black Crowes have begun an indefinite hiatus, but frontman Chris Robinson says that, compared to the last time the band took an extended break, this split is on much friendlier terms.The band performed the final show before the indefinite break at the Fillmore in San Francisco on Monday, wrapping up a weeklong residency at the iconic venue. Robinson told Artisan News that the band members were staying positive and were "in a great place." "Me, my brother Rich and Luther Dickinson all have babies now," Robinson said. "I want to take a little break with my wife and son. When we did it before, that was breaking the band up. There were a lot of bad feelings, negative things. The band wasn't fun and things didn't feel good. But in this situation we're a little wiser – and it means we know it's something we want to do again."
