(Rock AAA) The Black Lights were due to play Hard Rock Hell in Prestatyn, Wales, earlier this month – but they were snowed in so badly they couldn't even get together at their West Lothian HQ in Scotland.To make matters worse, the band would have had to play short-handed even if they'd arrived at the festival – because their lead guitarist quit days before their scheduled show. Frontman James McCulloch says he tried to contact festival organisers all through the day, but his messages didn't get through – and now he fears it's a black mark against their career. more on this story
