Arctic Monkeys, Libertines, Super Furry Animals Supergroup

(Gibson) Once and future Libertine Carl Barat has joined forces with Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders, Babyshambles bassist Drew McConnell and Super Furry Animals guitarist/singer Gruff Rhys to record an album for charity. The indie supergroup, dubbed The Bottletop Band, will donate all profits from the album Dream Service to education and employment projects in Brazil, Africa and the U.K., according to NME. Joining the band for the recording is a variety of Brazilian musicians and Charlatans singer, Tim Burgess. The group's first single, "Fall of Rome," has just been made available for download today at the group's website. Check it out
