Corey Taylor Denies New Slipknot Album Plans

(Rock AAA) Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor says there is no new album in the works – despite claims made by drummer Joey Jordison.Bassist Paul Gray's death in May forced the band onto hiatus. Taylor has frequently suggested he's unsure about the outfit's future, but Jordison said a new record would be released next year. Taylor says, "Before anyone gets the wrong idea, let me be clear. I have NO PLANS to make a new Slipknot album any time soon. Shows? Maybe. Album? No. As for Joey's comments, he took that on himself to say that. I can think of five people in this band who haven't written or heard a thing." - more on this story
