You wouldn't think that the genre terms shoegaze and indie-metal would go together but that is how Science of Silence describes Constants. The label has sent word that they will be releasing the Constants new album, If Tomorrow The War on September 7.
The vinyl will be limited to a run of 250 (125 Black/125 Translucent Red) with alternative artwork to its European counterpart.
The exclusive, hand-numbered packaging comes from Interrobang Letterpress (who was responsible for the Isis Oceanic Remixes Vinyl Box Set) and features alternative album art by M. Repasch Nieves.
The album was produced by Jesu/Godflesh mastermind Justin K. Broadrick, and features guest appearances from Andrew Neufeld (Comeback Kid, Sights & Sounds) and Mike Hill (Tombs).
With all the excitement of the upcoming release, the band has created a fan remix contest. Fans are being asked to visit www.iftomorrowthewar.com where they can download raw tracks, make their own remixes and submit them back to the band. Once all remixes are submitted, the band will pick their favorite(s) to be included on a forthcoming EP/Remix album (more remix artists will be announced soon).
Make sure to check out Constants when they play a town near you! The band just announced three album release show in October, dates below.
