The Charlatans are going deluxe with their comeback album, plus they have announced North American tour dates and in-store appearances. Here you go:The Charlatans recently announced the North American release date for Who We Touch set for September 14, 2010 via The End Records and now announce that the 10-track album will also be available in a deluxe edition featuring a bonus disc of thirteen alternate takes, out-takes, and instrumental versions. Who We Touch was produced by Youth (Killing Joke, Primal Scream, Paul McCartney) and is the band's eleventh studio release. 2010 is the 20th anniversary of the release of The Charlatans debut album, Some Friendly, in 1990.
The band will be heading to America a week prior to the album's release for a tour that begins September 7 in Atlanta, Georgia and wraps September 22 in Los Angeles, California. The tour marks the first time in over four years since The Charlatans performed in North America.
The Charlatans will be making several special in-store appearances along the tour route, including free performances in Boston at Newbury Comics, in Toronto at Sunrise Records, at Criminal Records in Atlanta, and Live @ Best Buy in Union Square in Manhattan.
