Kings of Leon are returning to the scene of the pigeon-pop incident. Gibson reports that the group are planning a September gig at the infamous "Pigeon-Gate" venue in St. Louis, MO. On July 23, the band performed at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, but had to cut their set short after three songs, due to the many pigeons in the rafters, who were pooping on the band and their equipment. The group took plenty of flack in the media about the incident, but have promised to make it up to all of those in attendance, according to STLToday.com. The Kings of Leon show scheduled for September 25, will be free for all who had tickets to the original gig. In addition, bargain-priced tickets will be sold at $10. Bassist Jared Followill, reportedly the worst victim of the pigeons' behavior, said his band instantly thought about working out details for a make-up show. "As soon as what happened happened, we knew we were going to come back," he said. "We knew [leaving] would be horrible, and we knew people were not going to be happy. We were just trying to figure out the best way and the easiest way to get back and make it better." -
