.
The Budos Band released their third album this week and start their west coast and Midwest tour dates.Produced by Bosco Mann and TNT at Daptone Records’ “House of Soul Studios” in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the band’s third full-length studio effort was conceived during weekly, beer-fueled Staten Island writing sessions – as well as more than 150 live gigs over the last two years – and recorded during a 48 hour period in January 2010. Playing high profile gigs this summer such as Celebrate Brooklyn! in Prospect Park with Sharon Jones and the Dapkings, Millennium Park in Chicago, and a slew of festival dates, the band will continue performing through the fall including two free shows in Los Angeles, Outside Lands in San Francisco, Bumbershoot in Seattle and a bevy of intimate club shows.
