It appears that former Guns N' Roses Steven Adler has gained some perspective about his years of drug abuse. Rock Radio reports: Steven Adler believes the drug addiction which saw him being sacked from the biggest rock band in the world was a blessing in disguise. And despite his Guns N' Roses bandmates sacking him in 1990, he insists he loves them all – especially singer Axl Rose. As a result, he's not bitter about his wasted opportunities. And now he's written it all down in a book, he's glad it all happened. "Drugs is a biggie. It's been the biggest waste of my life – but I didn't know back then. We would have been even bigger without them – look how big we were and how big we are. You think something is the worst thing in your life. But if that didn't happen the greatest things in your life wouldn't have happened." - He's not even close to done
