[Amazon shows it was originally released October 6, 2009.]Born On Earth is a loosely conceptual look at modern life and what it's like, as individuals and in communities, to be alive in this era and on our planet, while musically it's a diverse mix of guitar-heavy and dreamy modern rock/classic power-pop.
Anderson, perhaps most immediately recognized as lead guitarist for the Paul McCartney Band, fills the album with his free, expressive guitar playing yet displays a remarkable gift for restraint, while his clear tenor soars throughout.
