Moth Eater, the new supergroup featuring John Conley of Scar Culture, Dave Ardolina and Steve "Buckshot" Seabury of Dirty Rig, and vocalist John Alaia, have just posted a cover version of the Four Horsemen's classic track Rockin' Is Ma' Business on their Myspace page. The band's debut mini-record titled "The Thunder God Of Monster Island" was released on July 27th and debuted at #27 on the Itunes Digital Metal Music chart. The debut from the group recaptures the spirit of down tempo, slow and sludgy, raw and dirty doom. Plain and simple Moth Eater delivers. "When I listen to our music, I get the sudden urge to smash someone's face in with a shovel," states John Alaia. "Then I become grief-stricken and sob uncontrollably for a few hours, drink a beer, then I repeat the process." Moth Eater will perform at "The Thunder God of Monster Island" release party in New York City on August 6 at the Ace of Clubs starting at 9 p.m. - Check out the tune here
