Los Angeles area fans of the music of Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett are in for a treat. Entertainer Michael B. Levin, who has toured the country as Frank Sinatra in a Tribute to the Rat Pack, as well as touring on his own with his band in "Sinatra, Bennett and Me," will lending his voice to the California Philharmonic in two performances of Frank, Tony & The Maestro, Saturday, August 7 at 7:30 pm at The Arboretum in Arcadia, and Sunday, August 8 at 2pm at the Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles. Check out a video of him performing The Lady is a Tramp hereMichael is one of the fortunate ones, constantly staying busy and in-demand. He has played casinos from Arizona to Yosemite, and has played all over the world, headlining for cruise lines and other venues. He was the star of the long running Las Vegas show "The Rat Pack Is Back" at the Sahara hotel produced by David Cassidy and Don Reo.
Recently Michael has completed two stage productions in Hollywood, "Resting in Pieces" written by Sam Bobrick, who recently directed Penny Marshall in his play "Sheldon and Mrs. Levine," and a brand-new 1940's live radio play "Night Stories" where he played multiple characters.
Michael was recently a guest star on the Disney hit show "The Suite Life" as bandleader Ira Dinkelman. Michael has completed writing a sit-com treatment about all his experiences in the music business (he can't tell you too much) a cross between Seinfeld and Everybody Loves Raymond. Michael loves comedy acting almost as much as music. He currently lives in Los Angeles California with his wife Ellen and his parents from Brighton Beach! His new CD is expected to drop this summer "Mikey B - Swings R&B."
