Rob Thomas Smaller Venue Tour

04/27/2010
.
Rob Thomas has announced plans for a summer tour which offers a rare and exciting opportunity to catch the multiple Grammy Award-winning superstar performing as a trio in more intimate settings than usual, playing a career-spanning set.

"It's a chance for me, as a songwriter, to really highlight lyric and melody and to create different versions of songs that I've been playing for years," says Thomas. "We'll be doing my solo stuff, Matchbox Twenty songs, and covers. It will be a real 'Storytellers' kind of vibe."

The dates begin Thursday, July 15th at Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario, Canada and then continue through late August. The tour announcement comes hot on the heels of Thomas' recently released digital EP, "SOMEDAY."

The four-song collection – available now at all DSPs – is highlighted by four previously unreleased tracks, including fan favorite "Sunday Morning New York Blue" and a live rendition of the history-making #1 hit, "Someday."
