Free Energy Announce Tour and Video Shoot Plans

Free Energy are taking their undeniable party anthems on the road once again! The band will be making several headlining stops as well as performing dates with Jukebox The Ghost playing The Grand Old Day Festival in St. Paul, MN and touring on the Daytrotter Presents: Barnstormer III along with Delta Spirit, Ra Ra Riot, Nathaniel Rateliff and Pearly Gate Music in an intimate barn setting.
Produced by DFA's James Murphy, Free Energy's debut album, Stuck On Nothing, was released digitally March 9, 2010 and will be available physically May 4, 2010 on Astralwerks/DFA Records. Don't miss the chance to see one of 2010's most exciting new bands! Tour dates below.
Fans in Philadelphia are invited to join Free Energy at Urban Outfitters on Tuesday, April 13th from 5-7pm for the chance to be in the new video, "Bang Pop." In addition to the casting call, everyone attending will have a chance to meet the band and receive an autographed limited edition cassette of the album and other goodies!
There are over 100 parts to cast for the video, so if you will be in Philadelphia and available from April 16-19 when the video is being shot, be sure to come down! Philadelphia radio station Radio 104.5 will be partnering to get the word out over the air waves for this event. For casting, please bring a photo ID. If you are under 18 years old and want to be in the video, you must have a parent or guardian with you.
