k-os will kick off "The Away From Home Tour", opening for Drake on April 6th in Charleston, IL , which will make stops at college campuses across the U.S. k-os joins Drake on the heels of two sold-out solo shows in LA and NYC where the emcee floored audiences with his tight rhymes and infectious beats. The rapper also announced that he will hit the road with alternative hip-hop group Flobots in May. Tour dates will be announced later this month.
Released earlier this year, k-os'4th studio album Yes! (Last Gang Records) is filled with innovative and multi-genre sounds. The video for the lead single off the album, "4,3,2,1" is currently in rotation on MTVU and on MTV2's Subterranean. The album also includes such standout tracks as "Burning Bridges," "I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman," and "Uptown Girl," which features special guest collaborations from Metric's Emily Haines and Murray Lightburn from the dears.
