(Billboard) British rapper Lady Sovereign has spent the first night of her current Australia visit in a cell for her part in a drunken assault on a bouncer. The singer, whose real name is Louise Amanda Harman, was charged with assault on the weekend after spitting in the face of a doorman for the Beat, a popular gay nightclub in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley. Police reported that the 5ft 1ins rapper was hysterical as she was thrown out of the venue in the early hours of Saturday morning. She had been in the country just seven hours. - more on this story
