(PR) Singer-songwriter Joshua Radin is about to kick off a run of dates in Europe where he completed a sold-out tour earlier this year. Following that tour, he'll be returning home for a string of U.S. dates this fall.Radin is touring in support of his new album, Simple Times, which hit No. 1 on both iTunes' Top Album and Alternative charts within 48 hours of its release. Led by lead single "I'd Rather Be With You," sales of individual album tracks have surpassed the 400k mark. The video for the song – shot with old Super 8 and Polaroid cameras – was directed by Zach Braff ("Scrubs," "Garden State"), a college friend of Radin's. It features Katrina Bowden from "30 Rock" and hit the Top 10 on the VH1 Countdown.
Over the course of the past several months, tracks from Simple Times were heard on TV shows such as "Scrubs," "Bones," "House," "Grey's Anatomy," "One Tree Hill," "90210, "Brothers & Sisters" and "American Idol," among others. His music has also been featured in the films Post Grad and I Love You Beth Cooper and two of his songs are featured in the upcoming Fox Searchlight movie Adam (one of the tracks, "When You Find Me," was written specifically for the film and features vocals from Maria Taylor).
