.
(PR) Royksopp, aka Svein Berge & Torbjørn Brundtland, announce a very special remix competition for their fantastic track 'Tricky Tricky'. Featuring the unmistakable vocals of Karin Dreijer Andersson (The Knife, Fever Ray), 'Tricky Tricky' is the six minute operatic tour de force that is one of the stand-out tracks on Röyksopp's highly acclaimed 'Junior' album. Svein and Torbjørn are offering the chance to remix 'Tricky Tricky', with the winning entry being released digitally in the UK. To enter the competition in the UK see the issue of DJ Magazine which hits the streets on August 26th for further details and the entry procedure, then visit the following address to download the parts: http://www.royksopp.com/tricky-tricky-remix-comp DJ Magazine will then shortlist their three favourite mixes from which Royksopp will choose their winner. As well as being released the winning entries also receive a Samsung Beat Phone and an Ableton Live LE. Svein from the band says, "This is yet another shabby attempt at giving something back to our fans - or rather get our fans involved in our shabby doings... Yes, this is an invitation to all of you dedicated souls out there who want to take part in the Röyksopp legacy! We feel that track "Tricky Tricky" has so much potential, it deserves a life outside the album. Not only is this a chance at beating us at our own game, you also get to mess around with Karin Deijer-Anderssons extraordinary vocals! Now, how about that?!? For those about to remix - we salute you!" Röyksopp's new album 'Junior' has already been described as 'genius' by The Sun, 'pop perfection' by iDJ and 'our happy pill of the day' by the Sunday Times. It follows their massive million selling debut 'Melody A.M' released 2001, the gold certified album 'The Understanding' in 2005 and their hit singles 'Eple', 'Poor Leno', 'Only This Moment' and 'Remind Me', which won Best Video at the MTV Europe Awards. Röyksopp arrive back in the UK to headline an arena at London's Get Loaded in the Park festival which takes place at Clapham Common on Bank Holiday Sunday 30th August 2009.
