(Sony) Columbia Records recording artists Train will embark on a headlining tour beginning on October 20 in Seattle, WA. The 25-city jaunt will last until December 11 in support of Trains new album, Save Me, San Francisco, due in stores on October 27. Tickets for the tour go on sale on September 12; Uncle Kracker will serve as the opening act. Additionally, Train will lend their support to find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy by performing on the Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon on Labor Day, September 7. Grammy Award- winning band Train, will release their new album, Save Me, San Francisco on October 27, 2009. The album contains the new summer anthem, Hey, Soul Sister, now available for purchase on iTunes. Save Me, San Francisco is the multi-platinum-selling bands fifth studio album. Save Me, San Francisco hearkens back to the bands early days in the mid-90s, when they first formed in the city by the bay. This album marks the restoration of Trains original line-up, including vocalist Pat Monahan, guitarist Jimmy Stafford and drummer Scott Underwood, since 2003s platinum offering, My Private Nation.
