Richard Hawley Sets Digital Release

10/29/2009
.
(PR) Richard Hawley will release the single "Open Up Your Door" on December 1, 2009. The digital-only single features the song's album version, a new live recording of "Don't Get Hung Up In Your Soul" (BBC Radio 2 session, recorded August 2009) and the exclusive B-side "Run For Me" (6Music session, recorded September 2009). This is the second single to be taken from his critically acclaimed sixth studio album "Truelove's Gutter," out now.

In the US, the album version of Hawley's "Don't Get Hung Up In Your Soul" will be featured as Starbuck's "Pick Of The Week" November 17th!

At the invitation of the BBC, Richard Hawley recently supported Dame Shirley Bassey, whose first album in 20 years, "The Performer," features "After The Rain," written for her by Hawley. This performance took place October 23rd at The Roundhouse in London. Hawley joined Dame Shirley Bassey on stage where they performed "After The Rain" together. Hawley recently made news when Lisa Marie Presley joined him on-stage, surprising delighted fans at a recent London show. Presley sang a new song, "Weary," which she co-wrote and performed with Hawley. They are currently working on new material together. - For Your Lover, Give Some Time video
